G2103 Gas Concentration Analyzer
Measures NH3
The Picarro G2103 gas concentration analyzer provides precise, real-time measurement of ammonia (NH3) and water (H2O) vapor. It incorporates coated components in the critical gas pathway. This reduces the propensity of NH3 molecules to adhere to pathway surfaces, which improves measurement response time. The analyzer is an ideal solution for sensitive trace and ambient ammonia research and monitoring applications, such as livestock emissions on farms and formation of particle matters from ammonia in urban areas.
- Fast, continuous, real-time measurement of NH3
- Long-term stability for infrequent calibration
- Small footprint, field or lab deployable with no consumables required
- Water correction automatically reports dry gas mole fractions
Precision at 1 second, 10 seconds, and 5 minutes is 500, 170, and 30 and parts-per-trillion (ppt). Rise time (10 – 90%) and fall time (90 – 10%) is less than 2 minutes for 20 parts-per-billion (ppb) NH3 challenge. Drift at standard temperature and pressure (STP) over 72 hours is ± 0.15 ppb. Water correction software automatically reports dry gas mole fractions to help reduce research complexity and consumable costs.

This product has been discontinued. Please reference our replacement analyzer G2508
The Picarro G2308 gas concentration analyzer provides simultaneous, precise measurement of nitrous oxide (N2O), methane (CH4) at parts-per-billion (ppb), and water (H2O) vapor at parts-per-million (ppm) sensitivity with negligible drift for agriculture soil science, ecology, and emissions quantification. It operates in open or closed systems, and it easily integrates with chamber systems.
- Simultaneous and continuous measurement of N2O and CH4
- Parts-per-billion sensitivity, precision, and accuracy
- Operates in open or closed systems and integrates easily with chamber systems
- Water correction automatically reports dry gas mole fractions
Precision at 1 minute and 5 minutes is <10 and <3.5 ppb for N2O and <7 and <3 ppb for CH4. Water correction software automatically reports dry gas mol fractions to help reduce research complexity and consumable costs.

G2509 Gas Concentration Analyzer
Measures N2O, CH4, CO2, NH3, and H2O for Livestock Farming
The Picarro G2509 gas concentration analyzer is designed for use in livestock farming, manure processing, and fertilizer studies. In these challenging environments, high ambient methane concentrations and rapidly evolving ammonia dynamics can make it difficult to get precise measurements of ammonia and greenhouse gases. The G2509 provides real-time, at-scale measurements of nitrous oxide (N2O), methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2), ammonia (NH3) at parts-per-billion (ppb), and water (H2O) vapor at parts-per-million (ppm) sensitivity, with negligible drift.
- Optimized flow path for fast ammonia response
- Wide CH4 dynamic range up to 800 ppm
- Simultaneously measures five gases in air: N2O, CH4, CO2, NH3, and H2O
- Parts-per-billion sensitivity brings excellent rate-of-rise quantification
- Rapid response time and continuous measurements provide data at high temporary resolution
